The lady who cuts my hair comes to the house on a Saturday after she finishes her regulars at her shop. We were talking about her shop and I said it sounded like the Steel Magnolias set. She said customers were always comparing it to that or Mayberry. Well, I couldn't think of a beauty shop in Mayberry so I figured she meant the barbershop. But the beauty shop still nagged, and I finally remembered one scene in a beauty shop. I think I do. Doesn't Aunt Bee stop by a beauty shop to talk about the stuff she won on the game show in CA? Are there other beauty shop outings? Mostly I remember a couple scenes at home after she has been to the beauty shop. Can you trained observers help me out?
