I can't help but picture Don chasing those brat kids on Halloween like  he 
did Arnold Winkler when he rode his bicycle on the sidewalk. However, Don  
Knotts was no Barney Fife. He probably shouted some superlatives at them. And 
if  this took place either Halloween 1965 or 1966, he was no longer a cast 
member of  TAGS and 'The Ghost and Mr. Chicken' was "in the can."

P.S. Happy Birthday to "Country Boy" Clarence White from 'Mayberry On  
Record' and 'Quiet Sam.' He would have been 65 on June 7.
