>>>Hey Brenda, in "My Fair Ernest T Bass" Ernest T mentions having an
interest in ol' Hog Winslow's daughter, Hogette. Barney comments that
it's a pretty name and Ernest T mentions it's French. Apparently Hog
Winslow is a mountain dwelling, poorer relation to Halceyon's Factory
owning father. I'm guessing the girls were cousins. Seems to me that
Halceyon's father should have allowed her to visit her kin up in the
mountains. Although she was not attractive, she might have caught the
attention of a mountain boy who'd feel lucky to have a big city wife.
Not to mention all the pitted prunes he could eat! Kim - Wylie<<<<

Kim, this is a wonderful little story. I had never put Winslow and
Winslow together in my head.

Now if you could just time them to the Winslow family that lives next to
Steve Urkel, that would be amazing.

Two Chairs No Waiting-The Mayberry Podcast has been great. Allan your
stories about Howard Morris remind me of your similar stories about Don
Knotts. There are many facts that we can read in books, and see on
biography-type shows..but having those personal experiences to share is
very special. For me, first of all I'm jealous, because I would have
liked to meet those great actors..but secondly your retelling of the
experiences makes me think I did know them after all. Thanks for
sharing that joy with us.

Now..I'm just trying to Imagine Floyd as a Black Belt....He wouldn't
have needed Melba's heavy Walking stick to be in the Becker Posse....He
would have nailed that Bookie Barker in a heartbeat,,,He could have
helped Malcolm Merriweather fight Ernest T Bass instead of bringing a
towel from the shop to throw in....Charlie Foley would have been laid
out on the floor instead of a little "boop" to the nose....this list
goes on.
