What I find as unusual as the high price of the perfume is the fact that a small-town drugstore would carry a scent that expensive. I don't think the stores in the small town I grew up in had any perfume/cologne nearly that highly priced. I remember shopping with my sister for some cologne for my mom's birthday sometime in the early '70's, and we probably paid $5 for ours!
