"There are some un-seen scenes that are so hilarious hearing about, I wonder if they'd be as fun to watch."
Often "left unseen" is a good writing choice. Comparison: I read the play Steel Magnolias long before I saw the movie. In the play there are passing references to the church decorated in Pepto Bismal (sp?) and the red velvet armadillo cake bleeding when cut. Really funny lines IMHO. Not nearly as funny when seen, as they were in the movie. Again IMHO. I'm also glad we never "saw" Juanita or the telephone operator. (Sorry. I'm having a senior moment regarding her name. Sarah?) Another comparison: On Happy Days Joanie's best friend (Another senior moment on the name. Played by Phil Silvers' daughter) was a funny character until she actually appeared. Again IMHO, of course.
