Tonight I just watched a DVD season 2 episode of Gomer Pyle, and it's the episode that included the truck you show here. This is the episode where Gomer tries to help a family find a place to stay the night, and he ends up housing them in a shack in the Marine Target Range. The father, Harper Caldwell, is played by Dabbs Greer (who wanted to buy Andy's house) and Lottie Caldwell (no relation to Bunny) is played by Claudia Bryan...who I believe was dish throwing Jenny Boone on TAGS. Nice Griffith Show connections including the familiar country road on which the truck is traveling along with, of course, Gomer and Ronny Schell. For the fella who asked about the list of names, there is a nice list of names in Jim Clark and Ken Beck's book "the Andy Griffith Show Book. On Allan's Mayberry.com Website, there is an episode by episode list of characters that are shown. (this does not include miscellaneous names mentioned). The names in the book are in Alphabetical order, and does included some of those mystery characters not shown. So, bottom line..there is perhaps not a comprehensive list, as you are proposing..but these two tools would be helpful in your endeavor.
