Some thing I just noticed on the episode where Mr. Case comes to visit. When Andy and Barney lock themselves in the cell and Andy had on the polka dot tie. Mr. Case lets them out of the cell and you can see in the background what looks like the bulletin board. But it should be facing the window of the courthouse. Later on when the man comes in the courthouse you can clearly see that where the window is in later episodes there is just sheet rock and a few wanted posters.
