Dixon, you may be right, but after a closer watch..I'm not sure the truck was really destroyed. They had a nice fireball coming out of the bed..and it looked pretty nasty from a distance, but that may have been all special effects. What I was getting at is, I think they had more than one Model AA on the lot and blew one up, and kept the other one. I don't think the one we saw for most of the "Gomer" episode was the one that got blown up even though it was supposed to be. Something else I noticed about "Gomer": in that memorable episode where Sgt. Carter's beloved 1960 Dodge gets stolen, then totalled by a wrecking ball, a different car is substituted just before the fateful destruction scene. It's still a '60 Dodge but it's a lower trim version of the same car, a Seneca instead of Carter's Phoenix.
