>>>Something else I noticed about "Gomer": in that memorable episode where Sgt. Carter's beloved 1960 Dodge gets stolen, then totalled by a wrecking ball, a different car is substituted just before the fateful destruction scene. It's still a '60 Dodge but it's a lower trim version of the same car, a Seneca instead of Carter's Phoenix. The biggest difference is Carter's car was a hardtop and the one that gets crushed had sedan posts. >>> Gee, I never noticed that. I did notice, though, that when the ball hits the car, it pretty much just drops straight through the roof. But when we see it again seconds later, the entire car is badly crushed, as though they picked the ball up and repeatedly dropped it on the car multiple times.
