It's hot here in central Illinois and I'm sitting here in air conditioning in
shorts. That got me to thinking about how many Maybarrians we ever saw wearing
shorts. I can think of two scenes Howard on the island and the matching shorts
sets Aunt Bee bought for Andy and Opie for their California trip but did we
ever see any ladies in shorts. I thought maybe Helen once but I'm not sure.
