There's something I've noticed about Mayor Stoner's tie. In just about every scene he's in, the tie is tied sloppily with the narrow back part hanging lower than the front part. I wonder if this was the writers' idea, or if Parley Baer came up with it. I think it's a good touch. Mayor Stoner is usually so fussy and mean that his inability to properly tie a tie gives him a bit more humanity and makes him even slightly endearing (in a crotchety sort of way). Of course, in "The Bed Jacket," we learn that his wife is not exactly all sweetness and light, so maybe that's why he takes out his frustrations so much on Andy!
