I was watching Cheyenne, and John Qualen (aka Henry Bennett/The Jinx) was riding shotgun on a stagecoach. Why in the world they would let him have a shotgun in the first place is beyond me. Well it happened. Someone spooked the horse and they bolted into a runaway. Wouldn't have been a problem, but the brake lever jammed. Naturally. Coincidence. I think not. I'm figuring that's why he moved to Mayberry. More red-headed people live in NC.
