I have to say I agree with Janet (aka Thelma Lou). Its very hard, even after spending hours under my bucket thinkin on it, to imagine or accept anyone but the original cast in their roles. I doubt I would go to see the movie either if it ever was done.
As fine an actor as Jim Carrey is, I just can't see it. A few years ago, there was some buzzing about him doing a remake of The Incredible Mr. Limpet (he may have ? I never saw it, nor ever will if it DOES exist). Anyway...just my opinion and thoughts.
