For over a month now, the convenience store one half mile west of Wentworth in North Carolina has been selling North Carolina lamb meat. This is the first place I have known of to sell lamb meat in this state! I don't know where Andy and Otis got theirs! . . .I have been fooling around with model railroads all my life. Years ago, I bought a set of HO scale figures less than an inch tall called "Accident Waiting to Happen," made by Woodland Scenics. It includes a law officer in light brown (with cap) watching two kids about to shoot a slingshot at a piece of plate glass being carried by two men; substitute a strange hillbilly for the kids and you can see why I wonder if somebody at Woodland Scenics is a Mayberry fan!! (Hate to sort of run a commercial for Woodland Scenics but somebody else might want to get it) Eat Mayberry Taters!!
