The two episodes Howard Hesseman played on TAGS were the hot dog vendor in "Goober Goes to the Auto Show" and Harry in "Sam for Town Council" (both color episodes). Harry complains to Emmett Clark about the fishing in Miller's Pond to which Emmett promises that will be among the first things he'll do when he's elected. I would assume this second episode was the "sturdy" role since he had dialogue. He didn't say much as the hot dog vendor.
And yes, Tom Kessel's article about his interview with Bert Mustin (Jud) will debut in the "Mayberry Minutes", the 14-page newsletter of the "Mayberry" TAGSRWC chapter in Knoxville, Tennessee (http://www.mayberrychapter.com) in August. I've been so busy sitting, smiling, and nodding that I haven't finished writing it yet. ;-) Mr. Schwamp >Howard Hesseman of WKRP in Cincinnati made 2 guest appearances on Tags but >never shows up in the credits. >For Diehard Tags fans, what eps did he play a STURDY role in ? ____________________________________________________________ Bulk Email Mktg Software Do Bulk Email the Right Way And Watch Your Profits Soar! http://thirdpartyoffers.netzero.net/TGL2241/c?cp=4lKZDR_DapJ6Kz64T9LrEAAAJ1EpJZ9M8cFLckhtkPkV03rgAAUAAAAAAAAAAJjdAz5g9uCJTvn4fbvE9KKPzeOuAAAAAA== _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
