I enjoyed the discussion about Aunt Bee being out-of-Character and
dropping the vase on the purring sound.

I remember the story also that Frances Bavier said she would never say
underwear out loud-but there she was on the bus hollering at Andy in
front of Peggy( I think Peggy was there) about clean underwear.

The other instance that sticks out for me with Aunt Bee out of character
..was when she was upset with Barney over the motorcycle and she
recounts a scene in a movie where they strung a wire across a road about
neck high. I just can't imagine her suggesting such a thing for Barney,
as clothes-lining him (or worse) as he is riding by in his cycle. She
really took off the white gloves for that one!!

Does anyone else recall any great secrets in Mayberry?? (from my post
the other day about Opie being safe). I guess the safe combination
would have to go down as a great secret, since nobody remembered it, and
they had to cut in that back door. The true story of the Battle of
Mayberry was a big secret until Opie exposed it.

I know, you all remember some secrets, but your part of the virtual
Wildcats so "I can't tell ya" is the "tick a lock" that we still live
by.

After the big Gold Truck fiasco, secrets were pretty hard to keep, I
guess. DO you know what they're saying about Myra Koontz at the
Lingerie shop?
