The way I heard it is Myra Koontz had been stepping out with Orville Monroe. Someone noticed Orville's hearse out parked in the cemetery every Thursday night from ten till midnight. Orville claims he was thinking of offering a new "Layaway Plan" and he wanted Myra's input. He insisted that he was dead serious about the plan but Myra was dead set against it.. I also heard that Orville would always pack some sandwiches and beer when they went to the cemetery, but Myra got a little unnerved when Orville kept asking her to "pass me another cold one."..I hear it was getting so serious that Orville even proposed one night. He was very romantic and got down on his knee and said, "Myra, how would you like to be buried in the Monroe family plot some day? "I also heard that Orville had been giving Myra flowers every week too, but apparently she finally broke things off when she found a ribbon in the last bouquet that said "Grandma".

Now that's the story about Myra Koontz that I heard. Far be it from me to gossip, but that is what I heard.
