Dear Allan,
Thank you for pointing out to me that I misheard a particular line of
script. At the time, it seemed a very un-Mayberry-like thing for a character
to say. But I must point out that your correction to me was also
un-Mayberry-like. Using caps (as in WRONG) is universally known to be the
same as shouting. Also, comments such as "Wow Garry....I don't know what
you're hearing," "Garry was extremely mistaken," and that I "Somehow"
mistook Barney's words, are rather insensitive, especially since I said
right off that I had just heard it on TV Land. You yourself said you had to
slow down the DVD playback to understand the words. I'm sorry I didn't have
the DVD's to reference. You encourage TAGS fans to write in with
observations, so please be kinder when people are simply (and innocently)
mistaken. I guess I have something in common with Barney....we're both
sensitive.
Respectfully,
Garry
