Speaking of being boiled as an owl (Heavens, not me. Anymore. Well, not near as often) I watched the classic flick "The Apartment" last week and spotted Hal Smith as a hard-parttying "Santa" in a bar scene with Kacl Lemmon. The Academy Award winner was made pre-"Andy." Was Smith typecast as a boozer? Great, great flick. A recall seeing a "What's My Line" rerun a few months ago where Andy Griffith was the mystery guest and Jack Lemmon was a panelist. They said they were great friends. Tom of SD
