Tom poses an interesting question about how Andy tied the escaped prisoner
to a tree. I am glad Tom is a Sherlock Holmes buff because I am too. I
have read all the Sherlock Holmes mysteries, all the Hercule Poirot
mysteries, and all the Miss Marple mysteries, so I have picked up a few
detecting tricks over the years. So this is what I think happened. Now we
all remember that Andy was able to kill a carp by hitting it on the head
with the blunt side of an axe, and he then strung that big carp up from a
tree branch all by himself. Now that proves that Andy is one strong dude.
So I think Andy must have hit the prisoner on the front of the head with the
blunt side of his frying pan just hard enough to stun the guy. Then Andy
was able to drag him over to the tree and tie his arms. So that is my
theory
