Brad, That's very true! Mayberry sure "gets around!" :-) I wonder (of course it's probably not wise to wonder about something fictional, but here goes..haha) why Uncle Ollie went up through Shreveport, rather than more directly east, through New Orleans, or maybe northeast to Jackson, Miss, then up to Nashville and then over. Well, my thankin' bucket is plum wore out! Another interesting thing, relating to Lousiana and TAGS, is when Andy mentioned to Peggy that he and Barn had started to go to New Orleans and made it as far as DeQueen junction. Now, that seems a little far north for a couple of guys coming from Mayberry, although not too far north(west) (in southwest AR?). Of course, if Barn had been reading the map, then there's probably the answer. ;-) Now, that would've made a great episode, though. Can't you just picture the two of them on a long car ride? Perhaps a contemporary Barn might be driving the Google photo car for some extra cash (talk about Barney Google!)
