One of the great things about both TAGS and WBMUTBB is that they often
trigger memories from my past; mostly very pleasant memories, but on
occasion an unpleasant one. Case in point is last night while watching the
episode where Barney is telling Thelma Lou how Andy got mad at him one time
for fixing him up on a blind date with a girl who looked like Benjamin
Franklin. Well, I never had a blind date with anyone who looked like
Benjamin Franklin, but it brought to mind a blind date I once had with
Winnie. Her real name was Winifred, but everyone called her Winnie because
she looked like Winston Churchill. Now I must admit that at first I didn't
think she looked much like Winston Churchill, but when she lit up her cigar,
let me tell you I could have sworn the Prime Minister was sitting right
there beside me at the duck pond.
