Jason, The path where Andy and Opie walk in the opening credits of TAGS is pretty easy to locate at Franklin Canyon when you have enough time to explore. When I first saw it (and I found it myself by wandering all around Myers Lake), I jumped up and down saying, "That's it!" Anyway, there is a back road entrance to the lake that goes up to Mulholland (sp.?) Drive. If you are standing at the end of that road where it intersects the little road that goes around the lake, go maybe 100 ft more around the loop (it's just one way) to the first parking spaces. There are about 3 parking spaces there. Park and look to the left over the wooden railing down to a foot path. You're there! The path itself hasn't changed much at all in 49 years. It's an experience that made even Mr. Schwamp shout for joy.
