Regarding the wonderful citizens of Mayberry, we all remember dwar sweet Mr. Schwump. Well, in season 3, Gomer Pyle, our dear Mr. Schwump made a visit to Gomer's town. HE WAS LEAVING THE STORE AS GOMER AND SARGE WALKED IN. If any one has seen this episode, please check. I am sure it was Mr. Schwump. Regarding the Mt. Airy news about the toddler, I have been to MT. Airy and love this town. It has much to offer,in the arts, tourism, and model of Mayberry. It was terrible about the event. It does offer a bad light. But, these things occur everywhere, unfortunately, and Mt. Airy is not immune. The unfortunate part is it made Mt Airy look bad,when this does not occur on a regular basis. And, because it was MT. Airy, the toddler was found by a citizen and saved or this story would have had a more tragic end. I personnally applaud the citizen for taking action and keeping MT Airy,that friendly little town.
