Every day is a day closer to Mayberry Days. Allan has a good rundown of the
festival on the latest podcast http://mayberry.com/podcasts/

Don't forget about the WBMUTBB Silent Auction - this is our chapter's annual
service project to support the event and we've got some great things donated
with room for more. Please let me know if you can help or donate something so I
can prepare ahead of time (email me at [email protected]). The auction is
right after the parade in front of the Playhouse and runs until Noon, so stop
by and introduce yourself.

A few other things to note...

- An additional showing of "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" on Sunday at 2 pm

- The Dillards matinee concert time on the website has been corrected to 2:30 pm

- Mayors Proclamation is at 10:30 am on Friday

- "I Ain't No Rockefeller" Mayberry Days Sale at the Playhouse with great deals
on sportswear and craft items. Details are online at http://www.mayberrydays.org

- Come out to Cross Creek at 11:30 am on Thursday to see Mount Air native Thad
Daber's display of amazing golf shots. The Mayberry Deputy may even have a few
things in his golf bag of tricks

- "Mayberry Amped" features three local artists performing on Saturday night at
the Blackmon Amphitheatre

It's BIG!

Jeff
