If you are referring to main characters (Andy, Opie, Barney, Aunt Bee, Helen, Thelma Lou, Peggy, Ellie, Floyd, Otis, Howard, Sam, Goober, Gomer) There are three episodes which contained eight of the main characters The Rumor being the first, with Andy, Barney, Thelma Lou, Helen, Aunt Bee, opie, Gomer and Floyd. The second would be Fun Girls which had Andy, Barney, Aunt Bee, Opie, Helen, Thelma Lou, Gomer and the introduction of Goober. The third perhaps someone else can recall I know it wasn't in the books or anything but I do think it was mentioned here.
