Just a quick tour of tonights TAGS marathon. only 4 shows. and would you know i forgot th 4th show. even the books on TAGS dont remind me of the 4th show. well Andys Old Girlfriend was on.So so there. The Statue that was it. a good one with Howard's classic line "Yes i think the family would like to be alone " Dal McKennon was Bryan who also played in The Tingler 1959. He died recently. A Visit To Barney Fife well whenever Don Knotts returns, rest assure the old Andy Griffith of B&W days is back in full swing. The supermarket gang made a dupe out of old Barn. I crack up over the potatoe chip bag bit in the grocery store. the followup , Barney Comes to Mayberry is not outstanding but anything off the TAGS is miles ahead of Roseanne. That was it. slim pickings. By the way I see on Mayberrytownhall.com I loved the clip of Andy Griffith from 1958 on Youtube from Whats My Line , one of my favorites. to the evolultion of Andy Griffith character & man from 1958 to 1967 when he appeared 4 times is a marvel itself as i mentioned in my comments. i have 400 episides of the clssic series.ffrom hillbilly to dramatic actor from sheer comedy to grim somberness. thanks Andy.
