Those of you who are Star Trek fans may remember a series of books from the mid-1990s called the "Nitpicker's Guides for Trekkers," written by Phil Farrand. Phil liked to watch the episodes of the various Star Trek series over and over and look for inconsistencies and continuity errors, much like some of us do with TAGS episodes.
A few days ago Phil sent me a copy of his new book "That Fated Shore." It's a novel, sort of a sci-fi/comedy/time-travel story. So far I've ready only the first three chapters and it's very good. And it's CLEAN too, no vulgar language. Anyway, one of the characters is a town drunk who is the world's biggest fan of Otis Campbell.
