If I had only one episode to watch excluding all others, I guess it would be "Those Gossipin' Men". The way the rumor started about Wilbur Finch, the mild-mannered and somewhat ineffectual Traveling Shoesalesman from New York City actually being a secret talent scout for a national television show is hilarious and Floyd the barber's insinuating expression as he says "You DO sell shoes...don't you?" is a knockout. Not to mention Barney Fife's audition/shoe fitting while playing the harmonica and Wilbur's reaction to Barney's claim that getting fitted for shoes always makes him want to play the harmonica!!
