When the Taylors rode by the Whiskey a Go-Go club on Sunset Boulevard in 'Taylors in Hollywood' (11/1/1965), their "tour guide" bus driver called it one of them go-go clubs. The hip dancing there came by accident. A DJ started dancing during Johnny Rivers' set in July 1965, and the audience thought it was part of his act. In 1966, the club (along with 'The Ash Grove' on Melrose) was a happening place to be.
