I was searching through the Mayberry city archives the other day and found an
interesting tid bit from very early 1963: The parents of Steve Quincy paid the
sum total of $14.00 for the breakage of a streetlight by their son. Amount
assessed for replacement of lamp globe was paid in full by Mr. Quincy and said
payment was then entered into the account of the city's general fund.
