I just finished reading the book "London after Midnight" by Peter Haining.
It tells about all the various crimes that occurred in various parts of
London after midnight.
I wonder if this is where the TAGS writers got the idea for the newspaper
column "Mayberry after Midnight".
My wife Linda and I spent a wonderful two nights at the Taylor Home Inn over
Thanksgiving. We were joined by Mayberry friends Kristi and Lyle Zanker who
live in Rockford, Illinois. Per usual, Marsha and Dave were the perfect
hosts and hostess. I believe that was our 8th visit to the Inn. Only thing
that would have made it better would have been in the Darlings would have
stopped in for turkey dinner. I was also kind of hoping that Cousin Virgil
and Robie Miller's son Jerry would have stopped by. That certainly would
have livened things up at the table. Marsha is a bit under the weather
these days so it would really be great if Malcolm could stop in there too
and give her a hand. I doubt very much if Dave knows how to paint faces on
eggs. But he does play a mean guitar.
