I just noticed lately that although Howard's mother tried to get him
blackballed from the lodge and tried to infiltrate his relationship with
that new nurse, when that rice-pudding guy proposed, she up and married him
and left town. Howard was suddenly on his own and she didn't seem to care
one bit! And she might have been the first cougar ever. Curious, curious!!
