I went to a Christmas party last night of a friend who is an avid collector of
old films. He showed "Stan Freberg Presents The Chun King Chow Mein Hour:
Salute to the Chinese New Year" (February 1962) and both Howard McNear and
Sterling Holloway appeared on the show, but not as their TAGS character. It was
interesting to watch because the entire show was essentially a commercial for
Chun King Chow Mein with that worked into nearly every skit. Made me appreciate
the short commercials done in character at the end of each episode of TAGS.
