When I encounter someone who notices my Mayberry tee-shirt or vehicle
plates, etc. and they ask if there really is a Mayberry, I point to my heart
and then my head and say "in my heart and my brain there surely is; it's a
state of mind that I highly recommend!" They always respond with a big smile
that tells me they agree wholeheartedly.
Dewey, I imagine someone else reacted like I did when you said "stuff your
face." That actually is a tacky way of speaking although I know you meant no
harm. I figure most Mayberrians speak in a more delicate, refined way
except for Ernest T. LOL!
