I've noticed Ben Matlock uses the word "jackass" pretty liberally on 'Matlock.' I'm sure it stems from the songs 'Flop-Eared Mule' or 'No Account Mule' (a.k.a. Muleskinner Blues). Ironically, Clarence White-formerly of 'The Country Boys' on TAGS-formed his band 'Muleskinner' in 1973 after 'The Byrds' broke up.
