Someone asked about the ratio of money in the 60's to money now a days. Having
grown up in the 60's, I am well familiar with the ratio, and I generally make
it out to be 10:1. Most everything now a days costs about 10 times what it did
in the 60's. Sodas were a dime back then and are a dollar today. Hamburgers
were a quarter then and about 2.50 today. A good car cost about 2,000 then and
about 20,000 today. Candy Bars were a nickel or a dime then and close to a
dollar today. A pretty good wage then was 1.25 an hour then and about 12.50
today. You see where I am going?

Orville Hendricks - Your Mayberry Butter and Egg Man - I sure wish eggs had
gone up 10 times since then, but they have only gone up about 5 times.
