I was just ponderin' something about the email addresses. Allan, would it
work if you kept the addresses hidden as you did in this most recent WBMUTBB
digest, and then those who would not want their address public could
maintain a level of privacy, and on the other side of the coin, those who
would not mind their addresses 'floated out there' or who specifically
wanted them visible could put them into the body of their email themselves
(for those who may be looking for a Mayberry item - squad car comes to mind
- or who might want people to offer congrats, sympathies, add to a list,
etc.) and then it's their own choice? For example, I might be wanting to
say (and I DO!), "Hey, folks, check out our Taylor Home Inn Facebook fan
page - we now have the cots in the jail cells, and Dave is working on the
partition the separates the cells from the rest of the room" and then I
would give the Facebook fan info: search for 'Taylor Home Inn, a replica of
Andy's Mayberry home', and our website addy: http://www.taylorhomeinn.com
and because I would (and do) welcome input, I would put my email address
here: [email protected] and there it is.just like that. The main
thing is that it would be MY choice to put it out there - with all the good
benefits, and the realization that I might also get emails I might not
really want (that's when my delete button gets used).? Just a thought. If
we put 'em in ourOWNselves, it's our responsibility to accept whatever
emails we get as part of the risk, if that's the right word. Just thinkin'
under my bucket here.

Ken, you missed Opie and Thelma Lou. He was sweet on her because she showed
him kindness when he needed a little female attention. (Not that she was a
little female, but then again she wasn't a big female, neither.)

"When you have come to the edge
Of all light that you know,
And are about to drop off
Into the darkness of the unknown,
Faith is knowing one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid to stand on,
Or you will be taught to fly."
