We just finished a discussion about what items cost during the time of the Andy
show, and I have another question. Even though it was never mentioned, what do
you think Andy's take home pay was? He seemed to live pretty comfortably. I
know for a fact that my father was a janitor in a small school in 1961 and took
home $61 dollars a week. But we were provided with a home as part of the
package. So he probably collected about $80 a week. I remember that $100 a
week take home was a lot of money in 1961. So I got to figuring that Andy
probably took home somewhere around $90 a week when the show started. Nothing
to prove what I just said, just figuring.

depends on the number of eggs my hens lay.
