We all know about major characters who visited Mayberry for an episode or
so. Many of them had significant film and tv careers. But what about some
of the lesser characters. We've heard before about Edris March, who had her
only film/tv role as Frankie Flint in "Ellie Saves a Female."
I got interested in Jack Finch who played one of my favorites, Wilbur Finch
in "Those Gossipin' Men." Jack had a limited career with only 12 credits
between 1956 and 1980 or one role about every 2 years.
