We all know that Goober's impression of Cary Grant was a rapid fire "Judie Judie Judie"
Last night while browsing in a book store, I ran across a biography of Cary Grant. Knowing little more about the man, I was surprised to scan and find in the index a reference to "Judie Judie Judie" The Author stated, that as we have heard in the Digest before, Cary Grant never said that in a movie...and when asked about it, he publicly denied ever saying it. But, there was indeed a promotion short for the film..Only Angels have Wings (today we would call it a trailer) where he did actually utter a memorable "Judie Judie Judie". If I remember right, he started somewhat quietly and spoke the second and third each slower, more deliberate and slightly louder that the previous. So Goober surely saw that promo when he went to watch a monster movie.
