I missed most of this discussion, but in regards to copyright, it is not
enough just to give the source. You can quote a small percent and link to
the original, or quote a small percent and provide the source for the rest
of the material, but whatever the info/photos is/are, you cannot copy the
majority even if you provide the source unless you obtain permission from
the writer/copyright holder. One paragraph or 200 words is the normal rule
of thumb when copying from a source, and you still have to provide the
source.

An article or book is someone's property as well as their job. They get paid
when they sell copies. Some of this info may not pertain to whatever was
being discussed here, but in most cases, copying someone's work is literally
taking money out of their pocket.
