I have another theory on another topic. I just watched the episode where
Opie buys Helen a a pair of nylon stockings. Andy sure was adamant about
Opie not giving them to Helen. I think I know the real reason. He was
afraid the stockings were too porous and he would hate for the hair on her
legs to pop through. So that's my theory.
