While I was watching the 5th season episode of "Aunt Bee's Romance" this
morning, I noticed something unusual. During the whole show, only 8 actors
total appear. Andy, Opie, Aunt Bee, Floyd, and Roger Hanover. All of the
scenes except one take place at the Taylor home. In the one scene that takes
place downtown, two men and one woman walk by, making a grand total of only 8
people in the whole show. I would be willing to bet that is the least number
of actors in any show. Most of the shows have more than 8 people just walking
around the streets.
