In reply to Holland's question, I've always thought that Andy meant that he
was making some headway with the young rebel (Bill Bixby) and that he felt like
he had just lost him again. Of course, we know by the end of the show, this
young, spoiled rebel sees the light.
I'm also doing some "cypherin" over the question, which episode had the largest
cast. There's been more than one show where Andy's living room was sure full
(just like the birds in the trees OPIE THE BIRDMAN)
When Barney was trying to find Andy a wife and ended up trying to form a girl's
softball league and the one where Barney thinks that Andy and Helen have run
off and gotten hitched, because Andy calls and needs money for a license. Can
anybody remember any more episodes where the Taylor living room is full of
guests??
