It has been awhile since I have posted, but I have been reading and lurking around. About two weeks ago I was watching one of the local newscasts in Nashville. They were talking about the new 3D T.V.'s and how much they cost between $2500 and $3000. (too high for me). The only reason I'm saying anything about this is because they were talking about how shows from the 50's thru the 70's were talking about 3D this and that. They showed a clip of the beginning of 'The Andy Griffith Show', but the clip was not Andy and Opie it was our on Allan and his son walking down Franklin Canyon. The reason I know it was Allan, 1. no fishing poles, just sticks, 2. glasses on Allan, 3. Allan's son had on shoes, Opie didn't, 4. Allan doesn't walk like Andy. I saw the clip for about 5 to 8 seconds, while the reporter was talking. They must have gotten the clip off of you-tube. Ken nose-hair braiding, yuck, yuck. I like the discussion about the smallest and biggest cast. When Andy and Helen were supposed to be engaged, (Barney saw them kissing at the jewerly store), alot of people were at the house. Also when Sam Jones was elected, the party was at Andy's house. Margaret Floyd: 'I'm going to Nashville.' (Margaret: I already live in Nashville.)
