I will say in "Jailbreak" when Andy and Barney are in the trailer park trying to capture Malloy. Barney is crouching in front of the car when Malloy's partner starts the engine and would have driven right over Barney had she not realized that she forgot her cigarettes. As she goes back to the trailer to get them, Barney seizes the opportunity to get in the car himself and drive them all back to Mayberry. So Malloy's girl's cigarettes saved Barney's life.
