I learned yesterday that jazz guitarist Herb Ellis died a week ago at
age 88.? I'm not 100% sure on this, but I don't think this is the
same Herb Ellis who played Bobby Fleet in The Guitar Player Returns
(the second Jim Lindsey episode, from season one).? Since that
episode is about a guitarist, it's easy to get the two Herb Ellises
mixed up.? Last I checked, the one who appeared on TAGS was still
alive at age 89.
