The name of the band in Floyd's barbershop when Mr. Maxwell records them with Andy are known as The Country Boys and later as The Kentucky Colonels. LeRoy McNees was also a member of the band and attends Mayberry Days in Mt. Airy every year. He's "nice, real nice" too. Billy Ray Lathum was also a member of the band. I met him once at Mayberry Days several years ago.
As for which episode is it that both courthouse doors are open at the same time, that would be when Barney and Andy open the doors to let Otis in riding his horse/cow in "The Rehabiliation of Otis".
