<<....."Burke on Mayberry".... Mr. Burke talks about what happens in a particular episode in the order of events with very little insight about the actual episode or the actors. I don't get the point. Why listen to somewhat describe an episode all the way through when I can watch it myself? No sir. I've been taking from Allan Newsome for a long time and I'll not add this to my podcasts......>>

Hey folks!

I want to thank Bob for his loyalty of "taking from" me and listening to my podcast. Bob kind'a sounds like Floyd not feeling it would be ethical to put up Barney's poster in his window because he was voting for Andy. :) I want everyone to feel free to put that Fife for Sheriff poster up because it's not a zero sum game in the ol' podcasting world.

To me, as I've said many times, there can never be too much Mayberry in the world. Each episode of Burke on Mayberry is a summary of a given episode of The Andy Griffith Show with a few trivial bits of information about that episode thrown in. They're about 10 minutes long each so listening doesn't take too long and I guess the most important part for me is, they make me smile remembering the scenes being described by Kevin. It's also fun to me because I can hear in Kevin's voice that he's enjoying talking about his favorite show and the characters found there.

I sometimes wonder if the Two Chairs No Waiting podcast isn't a bit too geared toward "super fans" of The Andy Griffith Show. I mean, I often point out things that casual watchers of TAGS would likely never notice. For those casual fans, I believe Two Chairs may be too "inside baseball" for them to really enjoy it.

Hopefully between Burke on Mayberry (which I believe casual and above fans can enjoy) and Two Chairs No Waiting (for the more trivial trivialities enjoying fan) Kevin and I are covering the bases of those wanting to hear about The Andy Griffith Show in podcast form. I'm sure Kevin would join me in saying there's always room for more podcasts about our favorite show so I encourage anybody out there to give it a try if you're thinking about it.

There's always room for more Mayberry in this world and while we might not enjoy any particular part of it, it makes me feel good knowing it's there.
